About

Welcome to the darker side of Pittsburgh.

With architecture ranging from the post-industrial decay of abandoned steel mills to the soaring gothic arches of the Cathedral of Learning, it’s no wonder that Pittsburgh was the backdrop for films such as Night of the Living Dead and The Dark Knight Rises.

The gothic/industrial subculture thrives in Pittsburgh, with an array of club nights, concerts, art, film, theater, clothing designers, and shops catering to the darker sensibilities. This site is dedicated to helping you find and explore these resources.

[Pghgoth.com has existed off and on since the mid-1990s. Its current incarnation was created by gwenix in 2015. In 2016, it received a major expansion by Kelly, who continues to maintain it with input from the PGH Goth Facebook group. Additions, corrections, and comments welcome!]
